SHELVES

FORWARD SHELF OVER V-BERTH

SUMMER 2010

In the bow, Bill made a shelf on the starboard side above the V-berth.  Under that shelf he uses a bungee cord to hold the life preservers against the hull.  The wall of the head would be on the right of this photo.  See the next photo for clarity.


From a different angle, you can still see the life jackets against the hull, but now you can also see how others are held in place with a bungee cord against the wall of the head.


The darker brown wall below is the wall to the head; the lighter wood above is the underside of the shelf.







SUMMER 2011



Other mods include shelves along both sides of the cabin, at the upper window level.  He cut two pieces of plexiglass for each shelf, that easily slide to access the contents, and hold things in place while under way.  This is port side.

STERN SHELVES

This shelf is on the starboard side over the aft berth.  There is one also on the port side.
